HELENA
2008 BWP YEARLING CHAMPION!
FIRST PREMIUM
< Gatsby  x  Deja Fait | GOV Premium Mare>

Bill and Lori Wilton and Gatsby are the Coolest! We went from a maiden 16 year old mare with a Grade 2B uterus and a contract with a different stallion who could no longer collect, to a beautiful filly by Gatsby.  Gatsby was recommended to me by a veterinarian who said his semen had the best motility she had ever seen.  She told me to look up the website and there was this gorgeous stallion.  I had no contract and my mare was ready to breed! I called Bill and he said "No Problem!" He was able to send me semen that day and now we have our beautiful filly. Any question or concern I had, Bill and Lori took care of for me. WOW! That was great service compared to some of my past breeding experiences.  The filly was so nice that we bred right back to Gatsby and we’re expecting another foal next year. There just aren't many deals around like this anymore--great service and a great stallion.  Thanks again Bill, Lori, and Gatsby.

CLASSIC MOONLITE SON
RhPSI GOLD PREMIUM COLT
aka  Eclipse

September 7, 2008  -  NWSHBA Show Update!

Just wanted to share a few photos. I took "Eclipse" to the NW Sporthorse in Hand Breeders Classic yesterday at the Tacoma Unit. Eclipse did very well!  He was so well behaved and took everything in stride. The judge Hilda Gurney scored him "8" in over all conformation, very nice top line, correct legs, well turned out, very nice walk with good over-reach, big bold trot.  We took 3rd in the "yearling colts" class and 2nd in the RHPSI Breed Class.  He is currently 15.2 hands and just as sweet as ever (:

Take care,
Cathy, Styles & Eclipse

September 2007 - RPSI Inspection Update
Eclipse receives GOLD PREMIUM!!!

"Well developed, lot of front presentation, a lot of neck, very much the type of his Grandsire "Gonzo".  Solid in bone, well developed movement in trot, with good basic swing coming up from the ground and also in the canter.  Really good looking warm blood size colt by "Gatsby".... PREMIUM GOLD!"

- Quoted from the 2007 Rheinland Pfalz-Saar Inspector

"Eclipse" is growing like a weed.  He will be tall like his mom and dad.  I am already amazed at his movement and the way he comes through his topline.  His personality is as wonderful as "Styles" and he is a joy to work with.  I'm having a hard time getting anything done.... I just want to watch and play with Eclipse!

HEARSAY
BWP PREMIUM FILLY
< Gatsby  x  Oldenburg mare by Crypso (Calypso II) >

UPDATE:  July 2010

Hearsay (Emma) just started under saddle:

She has a lot of hind end suspension! She is extremely rhythmical and stays at one pace in all three gaits. I think once she evens out (growth wise) and I take up a little more contact she will get really light and floaty in the front. She will certainly be an ideal Hunter with her level-headed temperament, springing trot and consistent rhythm! She is quiet and sweet. She really wants to make the right decisions and make me happy.

UPDATE:  May 2008

I can't say enough about her. She is loved and adored like you wouldn't believe.

People who meet her cannot get over how well-mannered she is especially considering she is a yearling. My trainer came out to my barn the other weekend and remarked how nicely she is put together. I had another knowledgeable horse breeder over to my barn a month or so ago and he was floored by her conformation. It sounds like your boy is as wonderful as my girl...

UPDATE:   August 12, 2007  BWP Inspection  -  AWARDED  PREMIUM!

UPDATE: July 2007

Emma is just amazing. She is truly unlike any other foal I have ever been around. She never nips or kicks, and I mean never. She is so easy going and good about everything. And what a love bug. If you are not paying attention to her she can't stand it. She adores having her head held...and scratches...forget about it...she is obsessed

She is just the sweetest thing and adores human interaction. She seems very brave and inquisitive. She also seems extremely smart and has already learned to give into pressure. I think she knows what her future holds because at two days she was out running and jumped over a water trough (not a huge one mind you).  She is very kind and not at all stubborn. She is extremely smart and figures out what I am asking for very fast. I think she is going to be an easygoing mare, with intelligence and a positive nature when it comes to training and human interaction. She loves people and even calls back to you if you call out her name. I can't tell you how much I love her. I am very excited. When I decided to breed Prue, my goal was to create my next hunter. My mare is the ideal hunter and was very successful in the hunter ring for the short time she was showing before she was bred. When I looked at stallions, I wanted a stallion that I felt would compliment my mare and create the ideal hunter type. I am convinced that I succeeded with my goal. Not only is "EMMA" going to be easy and positive with regard to her work ethic, she is also beautifully put together and should mature to the ideal hunter type. ). I am extremely pleased and very grateful that everything went so well and that I have a beautiful new horse.

HAVOC DSH
< Gatsby  x Thoroughbred mare >

BWP PREMIUM FILLY - Site Champion
FUTURE EVENT HORSE COMPETITION, Division Winner at Waradeca

UPDATE
July, 2010 Recently started under saddle

"Havoc" is an amazing 3 year old.  This horse is extraordinary in every way.  She stands 17.2 H and is absolutely stunning.  She stops everybody in their tracks.  Her movement is lovely (videos coming soon).  She has taken all her training in stride - not a single issue - very sane and thoughtful in everything she does.  Whatever is new, she needs just a moment to process it, and then it's like she gets to business.  To supplement her ring work, I have started to take her on trail rides - she may be one of those rare horses that can be a winner in the ring and an amazing fox hunter / eventer as well.  We feel she is quite versatile and it's up to her to decide what she wants to be when she grows up!  We have been so blessed and pleased with her attitude and abilities - many have expressed an interest in her at such a young age.

UPDATE
February, 2010 - Comments from Havoc's new owner

"[Havoc] (a.k.a. "Lucy") is a beautiful mover and definitely catches everyone's eye. I actually first saw her online and was so captivated by what I saw I wrote to Lori Garnant and went out to see her.  I wasn't expecting to buy a horse, I was mainly "just looking" for a young horse.  Havoc immediately captured my heart with her big eyelashes batting at me and her elegant carriage.  I just melted and so did my husband.  So far she has been wonderful."

- Owner Vanessa M., Manassas, VA

Photos at 2 years old.  She stands 16.3 hands!

Havoc is lovely filly, 100% correct, heavily muscled, looks more like a horse than a foal.  She is shy, but very obedient - once she is caught!

UPDATE
Ausgust 14, 2007 - BWP Inspection

Havoc got a lot of attention and just about everyone came up asking who her sire was.  Both she and her dam won the blue ribbon for their respective classes. Havoc received the high score of the 2007 fillies class.

Undersaddle photos taken Spring 2010

"I still can't believe how lucky I am to have found Genesee!  I have seen a lot of weanlings in my time and none have ever struck me the way she did!   From the first second I saw her I knew my heart was gone forever!  She is truly unique.  She puts me in mind of a ballerina dancer.   And so friendly and kind."

Comments by Genesee's new owner Lisa Pond  9/2007

My filly from Gatsby this spring is a pretty impressive girl. I'm thrilled with her uphill conformation, and with her willing attitude.  In the 3 weeks since she was added to my barn, she has amazed me with her athletic antics. Just last week, at 2 weeks old, she jumped a half eaten round bale in her paddock (even half –eaten, this was still a 3x3ft jump)! Her approach was calculated, her form great, and her landing as smooth as a pro’s! Not much question in my mind what she'll be doing a few years from now; we can hardly wait!

MOLLY
< Gatsby  x  Oldenburg Mare>

"Molly is back from getting started at the trainers.  She is doing really well and even went out on her first mountain trail ride last week.  She did fantastically.  For a horse who has never been out of the arena, she went up the trail looking at everything, but went carefully and with no shying and I think she really enjoyed the experience.

When she was at the trainers, my trainer had a couple of lessons from a Grand Prix rider who was visiting.  I watched and was pretty pleased when the dressage instructor told me Molly was going to be a very advanced horse.   My trainer was in raptures about Molly and didn't want her to go home.  She is just a delightful, gentle filly."

GENESIS

UPDATE:  August 2007

She has the best temperament and always surprises everyone with her curious and sweet disposition.  The kids flock all over her when she is laying in her stall, and she seems to love them.  Her movement is incredible, as she just floats and is so athletic.  I think she will probably be the horse that takes me a long way.

I still can't settle on a name for her, so everyone calls her 'Boo' for now.  She measures almost 12HH at 6 weeks, so she is going to be tall.  She follows me around the barn when I feed so she can say 'hi' to all the other horses.
